Pet of the Week: Jake
This week’s Pet of the Week from Tipton County Animal Shelter is Jake.
Meet Jake from State Farm! No khakis, just kisses.
Jake is a 3-year-old 50 lb. Staffy Mix who is currently open for applications and will be neutered with an approved adoption.
Jake is the definition of a Velcro dog. He lives for his person and wants to be wherever you are. If you’ve ever wanted a truck buddy, a road-trip shadow, a couch-napping co-pilot, or someone who thinks your every movement is fascinating, he’s your guy!
Dog-friendly as Jake enjoys being around other dogs and gets happy and excited when he sees them. He could do well with another dog who won’t mind his enthusiasm, or as an only dog soaking up all the attention.
Cats get Jake very excited and although he means well, due to that level of excitability, he’s likely best in a home without cats.
Older kids are preferred because Jake has a big heart and an even bigger wiggle.
He is a smart boy who already knows “sit” and “off,” and he’s eager to please. With just a little brushing up, his leash manners will be really nice! Right now, he just pulls with excitement because he’s happy to be out and about.
Jake has “forever teammate” energy! He is affectionate, loyal, snuggly, and blissfully happy just being included. He bonds fast and hard, and makes people smile everywhere he goes. He would thrive with someone who wants a dog to do life with, not just a dog who lives in the house.
If you are ready to start your “forever home” claim for Jake from State Farm. Apply to adopt this guy today!
