‘Find Your Way Back’ to FHU Homecoming event kicks off Nov. 7
HENDERSON, Tenn. — Get ready to “find your way back” to FHU!

Monday, Freed-Hardeman University started their homecoming chapel with guest speaker Tony Barham, who is a part of FHU’s class of 1986.
From November 7-9, Freed-Hardeman University rolls out the red carpet for students, alumni, family and friends, promising a homecoming 2025 packed with class reunions, spirit events, musical performances, basketball games and unforgettable memories.

“Don’t give up on a dream. It doesn’t really matter where you came from, it matters where you finish up at. I grew up just a few blocks from here in a one parent home. I never thought I’d get out of college and here I am, speaking at Freed-Hardeman,” said Barham.
Friday evening entertainment options for students and their visiting parents include an FHU block party in the commons from 5-6:30 pm, followed by a homecoming concert featuring four docs and a jock in chapel hall at 7 pm.
Parents are also cordially invited to attend a parent breakfast reception with president and Mrs. David R. Shannon, Saturday morning at 8:30 am, in a private dining room of Jones family dining hall.
