Thomas “Tommy” Franklin Moore
Tommy was born on June 13, 1953, in Jackson, Tennessee, to Glynn and Mary Moore. A hardworking man with a generous heart, Tommy dedicated 24 years of service as a welder at CECO Doors, where he was known for his strong work ethic and loyalty.
He had a deep love for the outdoors and could often be found fishing or boating on the river. In his younger years, he also enjoyed hunting and spending time in nature. Above all, Tommy was a devoted family man who cherished every moment with his wife, children, and grandchildren—his greatest source of pride and joy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Glynn and Mary Moore, his brother, Bruce Keith Moore, and his daughter, Amy Lynn Moore.
Tommy is survived by his loving wife, Darcille Moore; his daughter, Heather Castano; his sons, John Thomas Moore, Brandon Bailey, and Blake Bailey; his sisters, Judy Moore, Mary Glynn Crawford (Felix), and Ramona Bishop (Ray); his brother, Bobby Jack Moore (Amy); and his beloved grandchildren, Hayden Castano, Josiah Castano, Victoria Castano, Zachary Skelton, Austin Dubois, Jacqueline Bailey, and Curtis Bailey.
Visitation will be held at George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 5, and will continue until service time at 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by interment at Rose Hill Cemetery in Humboldt, Tennessee.
Tommy will be remembered for his strength, love of family, and the many lives he touched along the way. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
