Davis’ Clothing in Lexington celebrates 90th anniversary

LEXINGTON, Tenn. — Davis’ Clothing in Lexington celebrated their 90th anniversary earlier Tuesday.

The shop opened all the way back in 1935 and was originally located in downtown Lexington.

10 years ago they moved to their current location. We spoke with the owner David Small who shares the history of the family-owned business.

“It’s a blessing to have been able to serve this community for 90 years,” said Small. “My grandfather started the business in 1935 and my parents took over from him in 1975 and then I took ownership in 2004.”

Davis’ Clothing is located at 562 west church street in Lexington.
