Community members unite to fight hunger in West TN

JACKSON, Tenn.—One Jackson event is helping to fight hunger for West Tennesseans.

RIFA teamed up with Cross and Wren to present Harmony Harvest Feed the Folk. The event aims to help prevent hunger in Jackson and surrounding areas.

Harmony Harvest took place from 6 until 8 Saturday evening at the New Southern Hotel located at 118 East Baltimore Street in Jackson.

The event features live music from the music group Cross and Wren who were joined by a few of their friends.

Harmony Harvest provided the perfect opportunity for community members to unite as one with the singular purpose, to help those in need.

“We’re absolutely thrilled, even more people than I anticipated have shown up tonight. This is a treat for everybody, I’m really happy to see Jackson show up and show out! Absolutely,” said Erin Wagnon and Hunter Cross, Music group, Cross & Wren.

Guests were asked to bring along canned foods or warm clothes to be donated to the cause.
