Dennis Clifton Karr

Born November 15, 1950, in Dallas, Texas, Dennis lived a life driven by curiosity, boldness, and an adventurous spirit.

Dennis proudly served his country as an Aircraft Mechanic in the United States Air Force, where he earned an honorable discharge. His love for machines, precision, and pushing limits carried into his civilian life as well. He was an avid SCUBA diver, held his pilot’s license, and found great joy in drag racing and all things Corvette. Dennis had a zest for life that was unmistakable—never afraid to think differently, he was a nontraditional soul who saw the world from his own unique and imaginative angle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gus Clifton Karr and Audrey Shockley Karr.

Dennis leaves behind the love of his life, his wife, Pamela Cooper King Karr; his children, Courtney King Ferris (Andrew), Bryan King (Raena), and Joe King (Hailey); and eleven grandchildren who brought him immense pride and joy: Abby Ferris, Evan Ferris, Emily Ferris, Owen Ferris, Thomas King, Lily King, James King, Cooper King, Kenna King, Shayne Raymond, and Aurea Raymond. He is also survived by his brother, David Karr.

The family will honor Dennis’s life in a private service, cherishing the memories of a man who lived boldly, loved deeply, and embraced every opportunity for adventure.
