Jackson Christian Celebrates 50 Years and Launches Vision 2030: Building Greater Things

JACKSON, Tenn. (Nov. 13, 2025) — Jackson Christian is celebrating 50 years of faith, learning, and leadership — and marking the milestone by launching a capital campaign for the future: Vision 2030: Building Greater Things.

Founded in 1976, Jackson Christian has remained steadfast in its mission to provide a Christ-centered education that fosters intellectual and spiritual growth. “Fifty years later, our mission endures,” said Chairman of the Board Seth Rudd.  “We exist to provide a Christ-centered education through academic and student experiences that encourage children to learn, lead, and love like Christ.”

As the school reflects on its legacy, it also looks forward with purpose and faith. “Though the world around us continues to change, our foundation remains firm,” said President Billy Lones. “We will keep inspiring curiosity, cultivating character, and encouraging every child to walk boldly in faith.”

In celebration of this milestone year, the Board of Trustees has approved the launch of the Vision 2030 campaign, a forward-looking initiative focused on sustaining excellence and preparing the school for generations to come.

Vision 2030: Building Greater Things centers on three commitments:

• Improve – Investing in faculty and academics, because excellent teachers and strong programs are the heartbeat of the school.
• Protect – Strengthening campus security, because every student deserves to learn in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Grow – Expanding facilities strategically, because the mission God has entrusted to us requires room to flourish.

Dr. Lones continued, “On behalf of the board and the entire school, I want to thank every person who has contributed to this legacy—founders, teachers, staff, families, students, and supporters. Your faith, your generosity, and your dedication have made these 50 years possible. The next 50 will be built upon the same foundation of faith and excellence that has guided us from the beginning.”
