Fall fundraiser held at Whitehall Church of God

JACKSON, Tenn.—Fall is in full swing and one local church teamed up with Daughters of Zion for a fundraiser.

Whitehall Church of God and the Daughters of Zion hosted a fall festival Saturday. The fun kicked off at 11 in the morning at the church located at 91 Bemis Lane in Jackson.

The fundraiser offered a tasty way to help out the local community.

Tickets were available to purchase some tasty chili or soup, along with a beverage.

And those who attended also had the opportunity to purchase other delicious treats and snacks, or smoked turkey legs.

There were even several nonfood items to purchase at the event. There were lots of crafts, art from local artists, candles and more.

Proceeds from Saturday’s event will benefit programs and various organizations throughout the local community.
