Sheltering Tree Ranch presents its Formal Frenzy

SAVANNAH, Tenn.—A West TN therapy center hosts a day of elegant horse racing.

Sheltering Tree Ranch in Savannah presented its Formal Frenzy Barrel Race Sunday.

The event invites equestrians to dress to the nines and let their horses race the challenging courses.

The races included multiple divisions Open 3D Barrels, Peewee Barrels, as well as adult and youth side pots. Prizes were also awarded to the top performers.

Proceeds from the day’s event will go towards funding the barn programs, therapeutic riding, as well as the care of horses and riders.

The ranch located at 3100 Highway 226 in Savannah serves as a therapy center for both children and adults who have autism or other learning challenges.
