Huntingdon announces 3-day ‘Main Street Christmas’ celebration Dec. 6-8

HUNTINGDON, Tenn. — The Town of Huntingdon and The Dixie Carter PAC invite the community to kick off the holiday season with Main Street Christmas, a three-day celebration filled with festive events, live performances, local shopping, and family-friendly holiday cheer. Events will take place Saturday, December 6 through Monday, December 8 in Downtown Huntingdon.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6 – A DAY FULL OF HOLIDAY MAGIC
11:00 AM–7:00 PM | Food Trucks
Enjoy local flavors and festive treats in front of the former First Baptist Church entrance.
1:00–5:30 PM | Pop-Up Vendors | First Baptist Church Family Life Center
Local artisans and makers will set up shop. Vendor applications are available at DixiePAC.net or in person at City Hall. Deadline to apply for a vendor: December 4 at 4 PM. Mudslingers will have vendors set up: The Porch Swing Place, Folksy Flowers, Jessa Potts Pottery, and The Red Brick Ranch Mama.
6:00 PM | Tree Lighting Ceremony | City Hall
Gather with neighbors as the community lights the official town Christmas tree and welcomes the season.
7:30 PM | Christmas at The Dixie | The Dixie Carter PAC
A beloved hometown holiday tradition returns to The Dixie, thanks to the wonderful partnership with West TN PBS. This year’s cast featuring Annh Browder, Mitchell Brown, Chelsea Fuller Brown, Lee Carter, Madilyn Dudley, Hannah Eaton, Nathan Eaton, Lindsay Johnson, Katie McGill, and Jessica Tucker—brings classic and contemporary Christmas favorites to life in a heartwarming celebration of local talent. SUNDAY, DECEMBER 7 – A HOLIDAY ROCK SPECTACULAR
3:00 PM | The Wizards of Winter | The Dixie Carter PAC
Experience a high-energy holiday rock concert featuring former members of Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Def Leppard, Trixter, Blue Oyster Cult, Alice Cooper, and Broadway veterans. This 12-member ensemble performs their holiday rock opera, “The Christmas Dream,” blending soaring vocals, orchestral arrangements, and crowd-pleasing theatrics. Tickets are $40–$50 plus tax for adults and $30 plus tax for kids, which includes a goodie bag. This event is sponsored by 92.3 The Hog. Purchase online at DixiePAC.net.
MONDAY, DECEMBER 8 – MAIN STREET CHRISTMAS PARADE
6:30 PM | Annual Christmas Parade | Main Street
A cherished community tradition rolls down Main Street to close out the weekend celebration. Parade participants must register by Friday, December 5 at 4 PM. Forms are available at DixiePAC.net or in person at City Hall.
