Expert breaks down some of this season’s best toys

JACKSON, Tenn. — Black Friday is right around the corner, and one toy expert has tips on which toys to shop for this season.

If you’re looking for a small gift to fill up the Christmas stocking, Pocket Pets is great for pet lovers.

Beyblade has also released a new version of its iconic challenge ring, featuring an elevated accelerator rail.

“Definitely, do a comparison shop online. Look at the item you’re looking for and check prices everywhere,” said toy expert Elizabeth Werner.

And here’s a gift the whole family can enjoy: a new version of Monopoly has been released. In this edition, you use a mobile app that simulates real-world banking.

“Some kids have an interest in board games, others in really fun world of Transformers. You want to look for toys that match them and the age recommendation is always important,” Werner said.
