UPDATE: Henderson County murder suspect charged, in custody

HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. — On Friday, November 14, the Henderson County Sheriff’s Department responded to a homicide on Azbill Road. Upon arrival, they discovered one deceased individual.

During the investigation, the Sheriff’s Department developed 43-year-old Brandon Swift, from Wildersville, as a suspect.

Authorities say Swift turned himself into the Sheriff’s Office on a violation of probation warrant, and was subsequently charged on November 21 for one count of first degree murder, two counts of attempted first degree murder, and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.

According to the Sheriff’s Department, the investigation is still ongoing and they are not releasing any additional information at this time.

Records available online show that Swift was transferred to the Decatur County jail on Monday, where he currently remains in custody.
