Casey’s donates $2,000 to Mid-South Food Bank during grand opening events

JACKSON, Tenn. — Casey’s presented a $2,000 donation to the Mid-South Food Bank during grand opening events to celebrate its new stores in West Tennessee.

Casey’s, a growing convenience retailer with Midwest roots and more than 50,000 team members, proudly serves millions of guests each day across 2,900+ stores in 19 states.

The event took place at the Jackson Casey’s location on 2990 Ridgecrest Road and the Brownsville Casey’s location on 1118 South Dupree Avenue.

Friday, guests at the Jackson and Brownsville locations can redeem offers including buy-one, get-one pizza slices, cookies and donuts plus $1 any size coffee or fountain drink.

The first 150 guests to make a purchase between 2-6 pm will be gifted limited edition Casey’s merchandise and receive a coupon for one free large pizza with Casey’s rewards.

“I think it’s a particular time of year where there are increased demands on all of us and we are so grateful that it also brings out beautiful generosity in people and we make that money provide those beautiful holiday meals with turkeys and hams for the people in need today and it also carries us into the new year providing those daily meals and gifts that are needed to continue,” said Amanda Cook, director of development and communications at Mid-South Food Bank.

Casey’s says it proudly creates stronger communities by supporting fundamental needs of its neighbors such as education, hunger relief and community servants including first responders, veterans and their families.
