First-ever “Good Tidings Market” held in the Hub City
JACKSON, Tenn.—Another unique event kicks off in the Hub City. The first donation-exchange market was held to support area non-profit organizations.
The inaugural “Good Tidings Market” took place beginning at noon at the Farmer’s Market pavilion in Jackson.
The market was created as a way for local non-profit organizations to raise money for their cause while also offering items in exchange to the donors.
The market is a win-win event. Those supporting through donations or by making a purchase are helping out each cause and also finding some great items for themselves or to use as gifts this holiday season.
The event featured items like decorations, keepsakes, holiday artwork and other unique items.
“We’ve had such a great turnout already that we are excited to do this event next year. And we would like to invite different non-profit organizations, if they’d want to be a part of it next year to email me at cgallagher@jacksontn.gov,” said Christiana Gallagher, Community Relations Director, City of Jackson.
Charitable and non-profit organizations were invited to participate in the event completely free of any vendor fees.
