Slow Decrease In Clouds And Chilly
Weather Update: Monday, December 8 —
Good Morning West Tennessee. Its a mainly cloudy start to the day thanks to another Alberta clipper that is quite literally only clipping the region his morning. To the west, a trailing area of high pressure will build in as the day progresses. The high pressure will gradually disperse clouds as the day progress. The key term here is ‘gradually’. It will also remain fairly brisk with winds from the north today 5-15 mph. That will keep the apparent temperature (wind chill) generally in the mid- 30s most of the day. You’ll need the warm wear.
Tonight:
High pressure will be in control along with mostly clear skies. Of course that means it will be quite cold tonight with radiational cooling engine in full swing. Temperatures will fall through the 30s fairly steadily into the upper 20w overnight into Tuesday morning.
