Lifeline Blood Services honors donors with annual Apheresis Banquet

JACKSON, Tenn. — An annual banquet held Wednesday to honor donors.

Wednesday, Lifeline Blood Services honored their committed platelet and plasma donors.

Amy Garner, chief compliance and communications officer for West Tennessee Healthcare, was the guest speaker. Lifeline’s 10 Gallon Milestone donors received a special jacket.

Lifeline Blood Services CEO John B. Miller also spoke and there were door prizes and a great lunch.

“The vast majority of people can donate. They may not think that they can, but it is really surprising a lot of people can donate, even if you are on social medication,” said Amy Garner, chief compliance and communications officer for West Tennessee Healthcare.
