Season of Giving with Holiday of Hope
SELMER, Tenn. — It’s the season of giving and one local community is calling this time of year a holiday of hope. The idea is to make a difference within the community.
This event features an ice skating rink, vendors, crafts, and carriage rides all free of charge. Proceeds will provide services to kids that have been have been affected by child abuse.


It’s a moment for family and friends to enjoy a magical weekend full of Christmas fun!
” We just want the community to come together but the biggest thing is just so the community knows that this event is making a difference in the live of the kids in McNairy County, said Callie Allison, Director of the Carl Perkins Center of McNairy County.
“It’s amazing seeing all the participation we already have. Haley called and said we have this idea and I said where can I help,” said Jamie Gibbs, a volunteer.
“It’s a blessing to see the building utilized for everything that is can be for the community whether that’s helping victims whenever hard times hit or spending time here and getting to witness families come together and make memories that will last a lifetime,” said Haley Stanfield, Director of the McNairy County Ag Event Center.
Sunday families can look forward to “Pajamas with Santa” to end the weekend of festivities.
