Pet of the Week: Jessie
This week’s Pet of the Week from Tipton County Animal Shelter is Jessie!
Meet Jessie, part Husky, part hyena energy, 100% heartthrob!
If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if a baby Husky and Ed the hyena from “The Lion King” collided in a ball of giggles, zoomies, and unfiltered enthusiasm, well behold Jessie.
Jessie is around 5 to 6 months-old and his vibe is ‘What if I never stopped moving…ever?’ And he has some special skills like breaking hearts, charming the ladies, and sprinting like he just heard someone say, “treat!”
Jessie loves people, especially the ladies. He spots a woman from 30 feet away and immediately turns into a tail-wagging rom-com protagonist. Expect dramatic slow-motion running. Expect swooning. Expect him to throw in an Ed-style goofy grin for maximum melt-your-heart effect.
But don’t let the lovebug side fool you, this boy has energy for days!
We’re talking Olympic-level zoomies, spontaneous interpretive dance in your living room, and a personal commitment to making sure you also hit your step goals for the day.
He’s hilariously affectionate, wicked smart, and very ready for a family who will:
- Give him lots of exercise.
- Commit to consistent training. (He’s eager to learn, but easily distracted by everything.)
- Have a secure fence.
- Appreciate comedy because Jessie will keep you laughing.
Jessie is still a puppy and needs guidance, structure, and someone willing to help him become the amazing adult Husky he’s destined to be. In return, he promises unlimited laughter, affection, and enough goofy Ed-inspired charm to keep your home full of joy.
If you’re ready for a lovable, lady charming, laugh-out-loud little chaos gremlin, come meet Jessie.
He can’t wait to giggle, wiggle, and snuggle his way into your heart!
Jessie will be neutered upon receipt of an approved adoption application, and may be best as an only dog due to his energy levels.
To adopt Jessie, please contact Lee Riley or Amber Smith by calling (901) 837-5919.
Tipton County Animal Shelter also has an online adoption application at www.tiptonco.com.
