Grinchmas in the Bluff

MADISON CO., Tenn.—One community event aims to fill hearts with the Christmas spirit.

The Beech Bluff Community Center hosted Grinchmas in the Bluff Saturday.

The day was filled with several Grinch related activities to fill the day with smiles.

The event began at 10 Saturday morning with a breakfast of Grinchcakes to enjoy…or not.

There were also vendors on site with various items for sale.

A parade was held to show off guests’ creativity, along with other fun activities throughout the day.

The evening concluded with an airing of ” The Grinch” and a variety of snacks perfect for a movie night. There were cookies, popcorn and more.

“We have a bunch of volunteers that are wrapping and helping the children shop and making sure that they get everybody on their list. We had a really great day and I think it was a great turnout. We had a lot of people show up. The Grinch was in the middle of everything as he should’ve been, so it was really fun, said Lisa Lovelace, Event Coordinator at Beech Bluff Community Center.

The day was open to teen volunteers to complete service hours and donations were also accepted for the Kid’s store.
