Christmas cookie eating fundraiser held at Lexington High School

LEXINGTON, Tenn. — Local food-fanatics gathered in Lexington to compete in a holiday cookie eating contest.

Lexington High School Softball Coach Mason Taylor took home the gold for Most Cookies Eaten Overall and local business owner Crystal Tolly-Bowman won Most Cookies Eaten with the most money raised.

Contestants were given three minutes to eat as many cookies as possible—no gentle snacking, no breaks, just pure cookie combat. Every $25 donated adds one extra cookie to contestants final score.

All funds will go toward the First United Methodist Church’s food pantry and the Paxton West’s family to pay off their medical bills.
