Mostly Dry Today With Strong Storms Possible Thursday

Wednesday Morning Update

A mostly dry day ahead with only a limited, 20% chance of showers under partly cloudy skies. Winds will be from the south around 6 to 10 mph. A little more mild today with highs in the upper 50s. Storms will move in tomorrow afternoon.

Becoming mostly cloudy tonight with lows around 38-40. Clouds will increase tonight and we’ll have a slight chance of a scattered or isolated shower on Wednesday but temperatures will climb to around 55 in the afternoon.

Scattered storms will blow through on Thursday afternoon through early evening. Highs will climb into the mid 50s. Chance of rain around 90% and some storms in the afternoon and evening could be strong with damaging winds.

TIMING:

Storms will move through starting around 3 PM through 7 PM on Thursday. A level 1 out of 5 risk will be with us Thursday afternoon. Threat: Damaging Winds.

Cooler and dryer air will be with us again Friday but the next front is not nearly as cold as the last Arctic blast. We’ll warm back into the mid 50s on Saturday for a really pleasant and mostly sunny day. Sunday will also be in the mid to upper 50s with a few spotty showers possible.
