Over $70,000 raised during annual ‘Hoops for the House’ games
JACKSON, Tenn. — A successful wrap-up to a generous community effort.

Jackson Christian High School hosted a charity basketball tournament for charity and those funds will benefit the Ryder Lewis Memorial Fund which directly supports the Ronald McDonald House.
The final game of the tournament was between Jackson Christian and the Evangelical Christian School with EVC winning 47-44. The event’s turn out was large and the foundation raised more than $70,000 this weekend with the community’s support.
“Well just the support from our friends and family and the community to come out and support the Ronald McDonald house through the Ryder Lewis Memorial Fund just helps something that was supposed to be, or was, a tragedy, just give it some light and a purpose,” said Tracey Lewis, Ryder’s mother.
The foundation plans to host similar tournaments and events in the future to honor Ryder’s legacy.
