Refresh Ministries spreads Christmas cheer to Humboldt seniors
HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — Seniors in Humboldt received some holiday cheer on Monday.

Refresh Ministries has been giving gifts to seniors during the holiday season for three years now.
This year they chose Humboldt Senior Citizens Center residents to be their recipients.
Pastor James Barlow, in partnership with Cadence Bank, was able to give seniors throw blankets, cozy socks and other gifts.

“It’s a tremendous blessing ’cause sometimes, you don’t know what a person is going through,” Pastor Barlow said. “So when I come here it’s like I have so many mothers here. And I always wanna make sure they don’t go without, even if they do have families. I want them to know they have an additional son that’s looking out for their well-being.”
Refresh Ministries is also preparing for their ribbon cutting for their new property in Jackson.
