One hospitalized in Roosevelt Pkwy shooting

JACKSON, Tenn. – A shooting at an apartment complex on Roosevelt Parkway sent one individual to the hospital Friday afternoon.

The shooting happened in the 200 block of Roosevelt Parkway around 2:30 p.m. According to the Jackson Police Department, the individual was airlifted to a Memphis hospital for treatment.

“Jackson Police officers responded to a shooting in the 200 block of Roosevelt Parkway. Upon arrival, officers located an individual suffering from a single gunshot wound,” said Stephanie Graham, Public Information Officer for Jackson Police Department.
