Jackson Police Department announces 2026 promotions
PRESS RELEASE:
Jackson, TN — [December 29, 2025] — The Jackson Police Department proudly invites members of the community to join us for a Promotion Ceremony honoring the following individuals on Monday, January 5, at 10:00 a.m. This ceremony will celebrate the dedication, leadership, and service of these officers who proudly serve the City of Jackson.
- Captain Shane Beaver has been promoted to the rank of Deputy Chief. He has transferred from the Special Operations Division to the Administrative Division, and assumes command over Department Operations.
- Captain Danielle Jones has been promoted to the rank of Major. She has transferred from the Investigative Services Division to the Administrative Division and will command Administrative Support.
- Lieutenant Nick Donald has been promoted to the rank of Captain. He has transferred from the Major Crimes Division to the Investigative Services Division and will command Investigative Services.
- Lieutenant Trey Trull has been promoted to the rank of Captain. He has transferred from the Administrative Division to Central Dispatch and will serve as Director of Dispatch.
The Jackson Police Department congratulates each of these leaders and looks forward to their continued service to the Department and the citizens of Jackson.
