Aden Drake Choate
Aden Drake Choate, 16, of Union City passed away Monday morning, December 29, 2025, as the result of an automobile accident in Obion County.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 1, 2026, at Greater Vision Church in Troy. Pastor Robin Rotgers will officiate. Burial will follow in Fremont Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Greater Vision Church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Carter Brady, Ben Brady, Colton Andecover, Logan Roncali, Kaden Bone and Nate McCoy.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brycen Choate, Sawyer Roberson, Lane Stover, Keegan McBride, Walker Haynes, Aden Disney, Andy Launer, Zach Thomas, Landon Moore, Tucker Moore, Justin Smith, Clayton Caldwell and members of the OC Anglers.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Aden was born July 31, 2009, in Martin, son of Zach Choate and Britney (Williams) Choate. He was a junior at Obion County Central High School and a member of the OC Anglers. He enjoyed duck hunting, fishing and deer hunting. Aden was a junior at Obion County Central High School and a member of Greater Vision Church in Troy.
He is survived by his parents, Britney Choate of Union City and Zach and Brandy Choate of Troy; one sister, Avery Choate of Troy; one brother, Brycen Choate of Troy; one step sister, Madison Mosley (Jordan) of Friendship; two step brothers, Carter Brady and Ben Brady (Kaitlyn) all of Troy; his beloved girlfriend, Cami Turner of Tiptonville; his niece, Elya Mosley of Friendship; his grandparents, Connie and Miguel Martinez of Union City, Mark and Deborah Choate of Obion and Bart and Tammy Ashley of Troy; his great grandparents, Wanda Alexander and Thomas Choate both of Obion and Beverly Rhodes of Rives; his aunts and uncles, Windy and Willow Andecover of Union City, Austin and Alanna Choate of Sharon and Miranda and Chris Floyd of Tiptonville; his cousins, Colton Andecover of Union City, Colton Choate of Sharon, and Gunner Floyd and Jameson Floyd both of Tiptonville; and several other cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth Williams; and his great grandparents, Frank and Lois Hinson, Margaret Choate and Tommy Alexander.
