Gibson County Sherriff’s Office offering rides on New Year’s Eve

The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office encourages everyone to celebrate the upcoming new year safely and responsibly.
On New Years Eve if you feel like you’ve had too much to drink please call our dispatch at 692-3714 and let us take you home, no questions asked.
And before someone says this is a trick, we’ve offered this service for the past 11 years and we haven’t tricked anyone yet.
If you choose to drink and drive instead of taking advantage of this offer, I hope you like biscuits and a breakfast meat because that’s what we’ll serve you on New Years morning at the jail.
Be safe and celebrate responsibly please.
