Weather Update: Saturday, January 3 —

Good Morning West Tennessee. Its a foggy start to the morning for some, especially in proximity to the quasi-stationary boundary near the Tennessee/Mississippi border. Otherwise, the rest of the region is mainly cloudy and a little humid early. Continental polar high pressure passing though the lower Great Lakes will provide a push of drier and cooler air today as the aforementioned frontal zone weakens and fizzles as the day progresses. Clouds will decrease gradually giving way to sunshine by mid to late this afternoon. The north wind however will keep a chill to the air. the slightly different air mass will becoming readily apparent tonight. As skies clear tonight, temps fall into the mid to upper 20s overnight.
