Congressman Kustoff releases statement on military operation in Venezuela
Congressman David Kustoff (TN 08), released the following statement earlier today regarding the military operation in Venezuela.
“Today’s action in Venezuela was necessary and justified to protect the American people. Nicolas Maduro has fueled drug trafficking and cartel violence that has cost the lives of many of our citizens. I want to thank our brave troops and the law enforcement professionals involved for their courage, precision, and coordination in carrying out this operation.
Under President Donald Trump’s leadership, the United States will no longer allow criminal regimes to profit while endangering our country and our citizens. I look forward to receiving a full briefing from the Administration on the operation and its outcomes.”
