Jackson Police Department commends 4 of its own with promotion ceremony

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Police Department invited the community to join them for a promotion ceremony Monday celebrating officers who proudly serve the city of Jackson.

The officers who have been promoted include Captain Shane Beaver, who has been promoted to the rank of deputy chief and assumes command over department operations.

Captain Danielle Jones, who has been promoted to the rank of major to command administrative support.

Lieutenant Nick Donald who has been promoted to the rank of captain and will command investigative services.

And Lieutenant Trey Trull has been promoted to the rank of captain and will serve as director of dispatch.

“It’s more of a calling, and a blessing, that I get to stand beside somebody that is willing to, not only sacrifice time, but most importantly is they’re willing to lay down their life. Not everybody gets to go home to a hero, and I admire him and I’m so grateful and blessed,” said Jessica Beaver, wife of Captain Beaver.

The Jackson Police Department congratulates each of these leaders and looks forward to their continued service to the department and the citizens of Jackson.
