JACKSON Tenn. — Destiny Church of Jackson is starting off the year with faith, community, and fellowship. Destiny Church International is in the middle of their ‘Foresight 2026‘ conference this week, bringing in influential leaders from across the country including pastor and gospel recording artists Jason Nelson, Apostle Sharde Martin, and Dr. Khaalida Forbes.

It’s also a big week for the church, as they celebrate in their new building that was finished just in time for the conference. It’s located at 235 Moize Cutoff road here in the Hub City. Clergy, staff, and leadership are also excited to announce their charter school in partnership with the Jackson-Madison County School System.

Their mission is to move the city forward with community, faith and family. Destiny Church of Jackson offers a mobile food pantry every month along with, school uniforms, family co-parenting classes, and leadership and development classes that are here for the community.

We spoke with Apostle Rhonda Pettigrew who shares their vision for what’s next.

“We are able to service the community better. We have the mobile pantry, we have outreach that we do as a ministry, and we are developing our own charter school. We’re excited about that. We just needed a space that would benefit our community. In fact, we have two spaces now that will benefit our community, and we are so excited about that. The next thing for us is really big because we are planning to make sure that we are a hub for every family that is located anywhere near Destiny Church and beyond,” said Apostle Rhonda Pettigrew, co-founder and lead pastor at Destiny Church of Jackson.

The last day of ‘Foresight 2026’ is Saturday January 10th starting at ten in the morning.
