Pet of the Week: Buckie

This week’s Pet of the Week from Tipton County Animal Shelter is Buckie!

Meet Buckie. Buckie is a young adult male Lab mix and quite possibly the goofiest guy you’ll ever have the pleasure of meeting.

We’re not entirely convinced he inherited Lab smarts; he seems to run exclusively on dial-up tones, but what he lacks in serious thought, he more than makes up for in heart!

Buckie loves an adventure, whether that’s a walk around the neighborhood or tagging along for your next outing. He walks exceptionally well on leash though on occasion, he decides he’s fully capable of holding the leash and attempts to walk himself, just to keep things interesting.

He’s dog-friendly, endlessly social, and truly believes every human he meets is just a friend he hasn’t said hello to yet.

If you’re looking for a happy-go-lucky sidekick who will make you laugh daily and be fiercely loyal for the rest of his life, Buckie is your guy. He’s pure joy wrapped in a Lab mix body and he’s ready to be someone’s best friend forever.

Buckie will be neutered upon receipt of an approved adoption application.

Warning: submitting an application may result in lifelong friendship, daily laughs, and a dog who occasionally insists on walking himself.

To adopt Buckie, please contact Lee Riley or Amber Smith at (901) 837-5919. Tipton County Animal Shelter has an online adoption application at www.tiptonco.com.
