Cold And Frosty Start!

Weather Update: Monday, January 12 —

Good Morning West Tennessee. It is a cold and frosty start to the work week with temps in the low 20s. Widespread frost may slow you down a bit, give yourself some extra time to warm the vehicle today. A large area of sub-arctic high pressure will dominate today keeping skies mainly sunny. Thankfully, we are on the western side of the high, meaning our flow will be from the south today, though it won’t be necessarily blustery today. A clipper/arctic front is forecast to develop and drop south from the Canadian Plains. It will usher a reinforcing shot of frigid air by mid to late week. Before it gets here, there will be a warm response. Tuesday will be pretty warm with temps easily climbing into the upper 50s to around 60°F. Scattered showers become likely by Tuesday night, into Wednesday.
