Great Wolf Lodge releases statement regarding Jackson location

JACKSON, Tenn. — Bids for construction are in the works for Great Wolf Lodge at Jackson.

Friday, Jackson Councilman Frank McMeen confirmed that bids for construction were put out by Great Wolf Lodge. We reached out to GWL for the latest and received this statement:

“We remain excited about the prospect of bringing a Great Wolf Lodge to the city of Jackson. This is an expansive project and significant investment that would bring an estimated 450,000 square-feet of family fun and hundreds of jobs to the region.  With a project of this scale, it’s imperative that all pieces are firmly in-place before construction can begin. Soliciting bids for a general contractor is one of many ongoing components we need to process before we can provide a more definitive update or timeline for the project.”
