Jackson Mayor Scott Conger delivers State of the City address
JACKSON, Tenn. — Mayor Scott Conger gave a State of the City address Tuesday at the Jackson Exchange Club’s meeting.

Mayor Conger addressed several different city departments and how well they succeeded during 2025. Conger also addressed his plans for 2026 and he says it starts with small changes to improve the city.
“Our goal is to make Jackson a little bit better everyday so incremental change and incremental improvement throughout the year so at the end of the year we can look back and see what we’ve done and start planning for the next year,” said Mayor Conger.

He also says the city has made a lot of progress and they are going to continue to work to make Jackson a great place to live.
