JTA: No bus services on MLK Day
PRESS RELEASE FROM THE JACKSON TRANSIT AUTHORITY:
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Transit Authority (JTA) will not be operating its regular bus service on the nationally observed holiday, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Observed Birthday, Monday, January 19, 2026. Services will resume on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 6:00 AM.
JTA service hours are 6:00 AM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Saturday, except holidays. The regular fare is $1.25.
