Jennifer Free kicks off campaign for Madison County general sessions judge

DOWNTOWN JACKSON, Tenn. — One candidate holds her campaign kickoff for Madison County general sessions judge.

Jennifer Free has been in the legal profession for about 20 years.
She starting working at Byrd and Byrd as a legal assistant then decided to go to law school.
She graduated and has been practicing law for about 16 years now.
Free says she chose to practice mainly in the area of criminal defense, but has also handled family law cases, social security cases, collectors cases, and more.

She shares her ambitions if she becomes judge.
“My goals as judge would be to start court on time. Have those cases heard in a manner that makes sense, that moves the docket along, that doesn’t delay law enforcement from getting back to their jobs protecting our community. To making those in the courtroom feel as though they are heard and justice is served,” shared Free.
