Camden Police Department offers medication drop box

CAMDEN, Tenn. – The Camden Police Department is offering a  medication drop box for the safe and secure disposal of medication.

According to a post on Facebook by Camden PD, the drop box can be used for old or unused prescription medication. Acceptable items for the box include prescription medication, over-the-counter medication, and pet medication.

Individuals can also drop off medication ointments, inhalers, and pills in any packaging.

The drop box is located in the main lobby of the Camden Police Department. The police department is located at 119 W. Main Street, Camden. The drop box is a self-service box and is under 24 hour surveillance. The box is accessible to anyone wishing to dispose of their medication 24 hours a day.
