Emergency PSA issued by Jackson Animal Care and Control

FROM JACKSON ANIMAL CARE AND CONTROL:

EMERGENCY PSA — ANIMALS WILL DIE

Dangerous winter weather is coming. Animals left outside WILL NOT SURVIVE these conditions.

Dogs, cats, and other pets left outdoors WILL suffer and CAN DIE from hypothermia and frostbite.

BRING YOUR PETS INSIDE BEFORE THE STORM HITS.

Even a bathroom, garage, basement, or crate indoors can save their life.

If you refuse or cannot bring them inside:

  • FREE STRAW AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY to insulate shelters
  • DOG CRATES AVAILABLE TO LOAN so your dog can come inside safely

There is NO cost, NO judgment, and NO excuses — only a chance to save a life.

If you need straw, a crate, or help, CONTACT US NOW. 731-422-7028 OR MESSAGE US ON FACEBOOK.

Time matters. The cold is coming, and if the storm is even half as bad as they say it might be, your pets will not make it without protection. If you see an animal in danger during this weather, please call the shelter during business hours, or the non-emergency JPD line so our Officers can be dispatched to assist.
