Adamsville Police Department announces road closures

The Adamsville Police Department has announced the following road closures. The department released the following statement:

Out of an abundance of caution, Old Stage Rd from Shackelford Funeral Home at Highway 64/W. Main Street to Neely Sharp Rd has been closed as this is a spot that is known to get very treacherous very quickly in inclement winter weather conditions, such as what we’re currently experiencing.

Please use Boyd Rd or Highway 224 to the High School as a detour if you’re traveling into Adamsville City Limits on Old Stage Rd.
