Sen. Blackburn issues statement on winter storm damage

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senator Marsha Blackburn issued a statement on Wednesday, January 28, regarding the impact Winter Storm Fern had on the state.

“Last night, I spoke with Tennesseans across 16 counties about how they’ve been impacted by the winter storms. We are grateful to President Trump for swiftly approving Governor Lee’s emergency declaration request as well as the Tennessee National Guard and Tennessee Emergency Management Agency for working around the clock to keep our state safe. 
Our prayers are with the families who are mourning the loss of their loved ones, and I urge every Tennessean to closely follow local guidance and stay off the roads until conditions improve,” said Blackburn
