Sheriff’s Dept uses county inmates to help with storm recovery
HARDIN COUNTY, Tenn. – The Hardin County Sheriff’s Department is using a crew of county inmates to assist in clearing roads and with storm recovery.
The Sheriff’s Department posted photos on their Facebook and said it is a collaboration between the Sheriff’s Department, Highway Department, inmates, and all other individuals and agencies that have rallied to help the county recover from the storm.
Under the supervision of the Sheriff’s Department, and the Hardin County Highway Department, a crew of inmates are assisting in removing fallen trees and debris from Hardin county roadways.
We appreciate the teamwork shown by the inmates, the Highway Department, and everyone else involved in the storm cleanup, who continue to work through tough conditions to support Hardin County.
