HARDIN COUNTY, Tenn. – The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVEC) provided a status update on the progress of restoring power in Hardin County.

Winter Storm Update
1-29-2026
Hardin County
Yesterday was a productive day. We were able to get all of our main feeder lines on except one in the North end of the County. We will start working on the taps on each side of the lines today.
We will have crews in the City of Savannah, County Home Road, Cerro Gordo, Mt. View, Pyburn, Highway 203, Hwy 64 E and Walnut Grove areas today. We will still be working on lines that will get the most customers possible back on and then work individual cases later.
Please know we are conscious of the hardships this storm has placed on our members. We are working as hard as safely possible to restore everyone’s power. We were able to get a crew with a track mounted pole setting machine headed our way today. We hope to have another safe and productive day today.
