Schools and businesses announce continued closures

THE FOLLOWING SCHOOLS AND BUSINESSES HAVE ANNOUNCED CONTINUED CLOSURES DUE TO WEATHER:

FRIDAY 2/5/26

  • Alamo City Schools – Will be closed Friday
  • Bells Elementary School – Will be closed Friday
  • Bethel University – Will be closed Friday
  • Bradford Special School District – Will be closed Friday
  • Carroll County Schools – Will be closed Friday
  • Chester County Schools – Will be closed Friday
  • Decatur County Schools – Will be closed Friday
  • Dyer County Schools – Will be closed Friday
  • Dyersburg City Schools – Will be closed Friday
  • Gibson County Special School District – Will move to remote learning Friday
  • Hardin County Schools – Will be closed Friday
  • Haywood County Schools – Will be closed Friday
  • Humboldt City Schools – Will move to remote learning Friday
  • Jackson-Madison County Schools – Will be closed Friday
  • Jackson State Community College – All locations will move to remote learning Friday
  • McKenzie Special School District – Will be closed Friday
  • McNairy County Schools – Will be closed Friday
  • Milan Special School District – Will be closed Friday
  • Tipton County Schools – Will be closed Friday
  • Trenton Special School District – Will be closed Friday
  • University of Memphis Lambuth Campus – Will remain in modified campus operations—including remote classes and work for students, faculty and staff —on Friday. Please note that Lambuth Campus is not closed
  • UT Martin Jackson Center – Will operate remotely Friday
  • Weakley County Schools – Will be closed Friday
