Jackson-Madison County Schools to resume classes Monday, Feb. 9

JACKSON, Tenn. — Jackson Madison County Schools are set to resume classes Monday following a large winter storm.

1. School Resumes Monday, Feb. 09

Students and staff will return to school on Monday. Bus drivers will drive their routes prior to Monday and we will share those roads that will not be traveled by buses so that families can arrange for transporting their children to school.

2. Board Work Session, Monday, Feb. 09

Board Work Session will be held at 310 North Parkway, on Monday, February 09 at 5:30 p.m. and the General Board Meeting will be held Thursday, February 12 at 5:30 p.m. These are government meetings open to the public.

3. Middle School Basketball, Saturday, Feb. 07

Athletics resume tomorrow. On Saturday at 2 p.m., North Parkway Middle will host the winner of Paris vs. Dyersburg. The middle school state tournament is Friday, February 13th-Saturday, February 14th in Rutherford County, with the winner of each sectional final advancing.
