Madison County Solid Waste Convenience Center schedule Feb. 7

JACKSON, Tenn. – All Madison County Solid Waste Convenience Centers will be open on Saturday, February 7 from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Due to current conditions and high expected volume, only household waste will be accepted at this time. The following items will not be accepted:

  • Cardboard
  • Metal
  • Open-top loads

Officials anticipate increased traffic at Solid Waste Convenience Centers across the county. If compactors reach capacity, sites may need to temporarily close while equipment is serviced. Any closures are expected to be short term and sites will reopen as soon as space is available.

Residents are encouraged to use patience and caution when visiting sites. Madison County Health appreciates the community’s cooperation during the phased reopening. Officials also extend their gratitude to staff and crews who have worked to reopen sites and safely maintain operations.

For updates before visiting a Solid Waste Center, residents are encouraged to monitor Madison County Health’s social media channels, or visit the website madisoncountytn.gov/health.
