Pet of the Week: Chelsea
This week’s Pet of the Week from Tipton County Animal Shelter is Chelsea.
Meet Chelsea, our sweet momma who is ready for her forever home.
Chelsea is a beautiful 1 to 2-year-old Mixed Breed lady and approximately 45 pounds. She did an amazing job raising her puppies and now that they are weaned, it is finally her turn to be spoiled!
Chelsea appears to be a Border Collie/Heeler–type mix (best guess) with a smart, affectionate, people-loving personality to match.
This girl lives for attention, belly rubs, and being close to her people. If you want a cuddle buddy who will happily soak up all your love, Chelsea is your girl!
She is gentle, affectionate, and always eager to make new friends. Whether she is relaxing by your side or following you around for extra pets, she just wants to be part of the family.
Medical notes:
• Chelsea is heartworm positive, but do not let that scare you away. Tipton County Animal Shelter offers programs to help cover treatment once she is adopted, and many dogs go on to live long, healthy lives after treatment.
• She will be spayed with an approved adoption application.
Think Chelsea might be your perfect match? To adopt Chelsea, please contact Lee Riley or Amber Smith by calling (901) 837-5919.
Tipton County Animal Shelter also has an online adoption application at www.tiptonco.com.
