Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. celebrates 118th Founders’ Day
JACKSON, Tenn.—Members of a local sorority gather to celebrate a milestone of service to their community.
The Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. celebrated its 118th Founders’ Day Sunday afternoon.
The grand event began at 2 pm at Destiny Church located at 636 Wallace Road in Jackson.
The venue was packed as sisters from the Gamma Alpha Omega and Beta Chi Chapters looked back on 118 years of sisterhood and service to others.
The event also included a special message from guest speaker Dr. Darla Young-Berry of the AKA Phi Lamba Omega Chapter.
