JACKSON, Tenn. — Important information has been shared ahead of the March application deadline for Academic Academy at Northeast Middle.

- Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026 @ 5:30 p.m. Northeast Middle School Cafeteria
- Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026 @ 5:30 p.m. Northeast Middle School Cafeteria
- Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026 @ 11:00 a.m. Northeast Middle Library
- Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026 @ 5:30 p.m. Northeast Middle School Cafeteria
How to Apply
To apply for the Academic Academy, parents must submit an online application by visiting www.jmcss.org.
- Step 1: Hover over the Enrollment link in the top right-hand corner and select Open Enrollment.
- Step 2: Scroll down to select Academic Academy at Northeast under Elementary/ Middle School Options.
- Step 3: Click on Apply Now to create an account and submit the application.
The deadline to apply for the Academic Academy is: March 6, 2026
Students not currently enrolled in Jackson-Madison County Schools must submit their most recent standardized testing scores to Rhonda Heard-Bigham at rlheard@jmcss.org. If you have questions regarding the application process, contact Rhonda Heard-Bigham @731-506-2413.
