West Tennessee Construction February 11- February 18, 2026

There will be possible DAYTIME or NIGHTTIME lane closures at various locations in Region 4 to make repairs or new installs on an as needed basis at various locations throughout the 21 counties. 

District 47 

BENTON COUNTY 

I-40 at Exit 126: The grading, drainage, and paving on I-40 at the US-641 (SR-69) interchange (Exit  126) will cause temporary lane closures throughout the project. 

BENTON COUNTY 

SR-1 (US70): The grading, drainage, and paving on SR-1 (US 70) from the Camden Bypass to the  Tennessee River will cause temporary lane closures throughout the project. 

CARROLL COUNTY 

SR-1 (US 70): The Resurfacing on SR-1 (US 70) from near Rutherford Fork Obion River to SR22  includes all directions of Huntingdon Square) will cause temporary nightly and daily lane closures  throughout the project for milling and paving and bridge repair.  

CARROLL COUNTY 

SR-76 (US-79): The grading, drainage, noise walls, signals and paving on U.S. 79 (S.R. 76) from near  S.R. 77 to near Cutlip Lane will cause lane closures throughout the project. 

Meadowbrook Lane is closed. 

Cutlip Lane: Traffic was shifted to the new alignment from near Cutlip Ln. to the Connector Rd. leading into Trezevant, speed limit reduced to 35 MPH. Traffic will proceed down the new alignment  to an All Way Stop and then proceed onto Old US79 (SR76). 

Dorsey Rd is closed for utility realignment and road construction, weather permitting. Detour  route will be delineated by signage. 

Clay Farm Rd is closed for utility realignment and road construction, weather permitting. Detour  route will be provided along Newsome Rd and will be delineated by signage. Power Station Rd: Is closed for road construction, and traffic will be detoured along US-70A/SR105  Main Street. 

DYER COUNTY 

SR-211: The bridge over the North Fork Forked Deer River (just south of Dyersburg) will have  outside lane closures for inspection and evaluation beginning August 9, 2024. 

WEAKLEY COUNTY 

SR-43 and US45E INTERCHANGE: The full depth repair of concrete ramps at the US 45E and SR43  interchange will cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

District 48 

CARROLL, GIBSON, HENDERSON, MADISON COUNTIES 

(S.R.124, S.R.186, S.R.1, S.R.22): The ADA curb ramp upgrades along various State Routes will  cause temporary lane closures in both directions. One lane will remain open at all times. Motorists  should watch for crew/equipment in the roadway.  

CHESTER COUNTY 

SR100 between E. Main St. and Baker Rd. 

Crews are replacing 2 bridges on SR100 between E. Main St. and Baker Rd. Please use caution  throughout the area. There is a temporary traffic signal in place at the bridge over Dry Creek, east  of Henderson. 

Restrictions: Speed limit is reduced from 55 MPH to 45 MPH on SR100 

CROCKETT COUNTY 

SR88 in Bells, TN in relation to relocating SR76 around Picsweet 

Beginning Thursday, August 14, 2025 the following roads will be closed in Bells, TN Central Ave. (SR88) from High St. To Christian Ave Ext. 

  • Central Ave. (SR88), west of the CSX Railroad 
  • Weddle St., south of Mitchell Ave. 
  • Hicks St., from High St. to south of existing Central Ave. (SR88) 

A posted detour will be in place for SR88. 

DECATUR COUNTY 

SR-100 between Cooper Branch Road and Tillman Road at LM 5.1 

Thursday, February 12 at 8:00 a.m. through Sunday, February 19 at 6:00 p.m.: There will be a  lane closure in place on SR100 between Cooper Branch Road and Tillman Road at LM 5.1, controlled  by a temporary traffic signal, for crews to stabilize the shoulder of SR100. The temporary signal is  currently installed and flashing. 

HAYWOOD COUNTY 

SR180 Near Jeffries Rd. To Raymond Akin Rd. Closed to through traffic 

SR180 is closed to through traffic due to damage caused by the recent multi-day flood event. 

HENDERSON COUNTY 

I-40 eastbound at MM120.3 

Thursday, February 12, 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.: There will be intermittent lane closures eastbound on I 40 at MM 120.3 for milling operations and asphalt repair.

MADISON COUNTY

US412 (SR20) at Old Bells Rd.: The improvements of the intersection on U.S 412 (S.R. 20) at Old Bells  Road (L.M. 5.62) in Jackson, including grading, drainage, will cause possible lane closures in both  directions. Motorists should watch for crew/equipment in the roadway.  

Wednesday, February 4 through Wednesday, February 11, 8PM-4:30AM: There are no  scheduled closures. 

District 49 

FAYETTE COUNTY 

I-269 (SR-385) from near SR-86 (U.S. 72) to SR-57:  

Daily: Northbound I-269 (SR-385) will be reduced to one lane from SR-86 (U.S. 72) to SR-57 for bridge  maintenance activities. At least one lane will remain open at all times. The speed limit will be  reduced from 65 mph to 55 mph through the work zone. There will be a 12’ lane width restriction  over the I-269 North (SR-385 West) bridge at L.M. 1.23. 

SHELBY COUNTY 

I-40 East Bound Near North B.B. King MM1.10: 

Monday, February 9th, 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM: Eastbound I-40 at MM 1.1 Crews will have lanes 1 and 2  closed for bridge joint repair.  

SHELBY COUNTY 

I-240 Near Exit 24 Nonconnah: 

Sunday, February 15th, 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM: There will be rolling roadblocks in each direction to  allow for a utility contractor to run fiber over I-240. 

SHELBY COUNTY 

I-240 from South Parkway E. to SR-4 (Lamar Avenue): 

Thursday, February 12, 9:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be temporary lane closures along I-240 North  and South to perform ITS Maintenance repairs on the overhead DMS Board #29 (M.M. 28.4). At least  one lane will remain open at all times. February 26th will serve as a backup date. 

SHELBY COUNTY 

I-240 from near SR-57 (Poplar Ave.) to near US-64 (US-70, SR-1 Summer Ave.): Nightly 7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be intermittent temporary lane closures for asphalt  resurfacing activities. At least one lane in each direction to remain open at all times.  

SHELBY COUNTY 

SR- 14/ US-61 (Third Street) Bridges over ICRR and Nonconnah Creek (L.M. 7.13) Shelby County,  Tennessee. Interstate 55 Exit Ramp Bridge to State Route 14 (L.M. 7.44) State Route 14 (South  3rd Street) Bridge over Interstate 55 (L.M. 7.46).  

Sunday, February 8th, through Thursday, February 26th, 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.: There will be  temporary nighttime lane closures on northbound and southbound I-55 at exit 7 to restripe the northbound and southbound lanes of I-55 and install median barrier wall. The southbound I-55 to  southbound SR-14 ramp and northbound SR-14 to southbound I-55 ramp will be closed with detours  in place. The northbound I-55 to northbound/southbound SR-14 ramp will be closed with detours in  place. At least one lane in both directions of I-55 will remain open. February 26th through March  15th will serve as backup dates.

The following ramps on US-61 S Third St (SR14) at I 55 will continue to remain closed with detours in  place: 

  • Northbound S.R. 14 to northbound I-55. 
  • Southbound S.R. 14 to southbound I-55. 

Beginning Wednesday, September 3, 2025, northbound SR-14 traffic will be reduced to one lane  from the approach to the bridge over Nonconnah Creek to just beyond the northbound SR-14 to  northbound I-55 loop ramp. Drivers can expect intermittent flagging on SR14.  

SHELBY COUNTY 

SR-1 (U.S. 70, Summer Ave.) from near I-40 to North of Sycamore View Rd.: Daily: There will be temporary lane closures along Westbound and Eastbound SR-1 for roadway  widening activities. Eastbound SR-1 will be reduced from two lanes to one lane beginning at the I-40  Frontage Rd. and ending East of Sycamore View Rd. Westbound SR-1 will be reduced from two lanes  to one lane beginning near Munson Rd. and ending at the I-40 Frontage Road. Trucks will be entering  and exiting the work zone along SR-1. Flaggers will be present for directing traffic as necessary. At  least one lane in each direction will remain open at all times. 

Wednesday, February 11, 7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.: There will be intermittent temporary lane closures  along Eastbound and Westbound SR-1 for roadway widening activities. Flaggers will be present for  directing traffic. At least one lane will remain open at all times. February 12th and 13th will serve as  a backup dates. 

Beginning Wednesday, February 18th: Access to Summer Trees Drive along SR-1 (Summer Avenue)  will be temporarily closed with detours in place.  

SHELBY COUNTY 

SR-4 from South of Shelby Drive (L.M. 1.10) to the Raines/Perkins Road interchange (L.M. 3.50):  The following routes will be affected due to roadway widening activities along SR-4.  

Affected Routes: 

  • Lamar Avenue (SR-4): Speed limit reduced from 55 mph to 45 mph from South of Shelby  Drive to the Raines/Perkins Road interchange. 

Shelby Drive (SR-175): Speed limit reduced from 45 mph to 35 mph at the intersection with  Lamar Avenue (SR-4).

Pleasant Run Road: Closed to thru traffic from Pleasant Hill Road. Pleasant Run Road is  closed from Lamar Avenue (SR-4).

SHELBY COUNTY 

SR-14 from Kerrville Rosemark Road to the Tipton County Line: 

The widening on SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy) from Kerrville-Rosemark to the Tipton County Line will  cause shoulder closures and temporary lane closures in both directions. There will be intermittent  lane closures daily on eastbound and westbound SR 14 to perform grading, drainage, and paving  work. Tracy Rd., Idaville Rd., Mulberry Rd., and Gragg Rd. will be closed, and a detour put in place. 

SHELBY COUNTY 

SR-57 (E. Poplar Avenue) from Fletcher Road to I-269 (SR-385):  

Daily: There will be intermittent temporary lane closures along Eastbound and Westbound SR-57 for  roadway widening activities. Flaggers will be present for directing traffic. At least one lane will remain  open at all times. 

SHELBY COUNTY 

SR-277 (Airways Blvd) from S. Trezevant St. To S. Parkway E/ Spottswood: Daily from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.: There will be intermittent temporary lane closures for ADA Curb  Ramp installation. At least one lane in each direction to remain open at all times. 

TIPTON COUNTY 

US-51 (SR-3) from Southall Road to Hope Street: There will be temporary inside and outside lane  closures on north and southbound US 51 from Southall Road to Hope Street DAILY to perform  resurfacing work. At least one lane in each direction will be open at all times. 

TIPTON COUNTY 

SR-54 from US-51 (SR-3) to the Haywood County Line: There will be temporary lane closures on  east and westbound SR 54 from US 51 to the Haywood County Line DAILY to perform resurfacing  and bridge repair work. 

TIPTON COUNTY 

SR-384 from Hastings Way to the US-51 (SR-3): There will be temporary lane closures on north and  southbound SR 384 from Hastings Way to US 51 DAILY to perform resurfacing and bridge repair  work. 

NON-TDOT WORK 

SHELBY COUNTY 

SR-3 (US51 Elvis Presley Blvd.) from Craft Rd. L.M. 3.41 to Winchester Rd. L.M. 4.1: There will be  long-term lane closures going north and southbound SR 3 (US51) to perform reconstruction  improvements.
